Need more Juice from a Tiny Practice Amp.....Try a Jumper!

Posted by Eric Robinson on August 25, 2012 at 5:30 PM

Hi Guys -

Anybody got a Tiny Practice Amp, with a 8", 6" or 4" Speaker??? Many times these little 10-20 Watt Amps don't sound all that Great & they seem that they don't have much Power.

--

---You'd be Surprised on How much Power these Amp really have!!!

--

--

This will require you have Home Stereo Tower Speaker.  Sounds better with a 10" or 12" Speaker.

--

--

Make a 3'-4' Jumper with Speaker Wire. Attach the Pos & Neg of 1 end to the Guitar Amp Speaker (that is attached to the Guitar Amp). Attach the other end of the Jumper to the Home Stereo Tower Speaker. Just put them into the matching Pos & Neg input in the back of the Speaker.

--

You'll be surprised by how much more Volume that you'd get out of that little 10 Watt Solid State Guitar Amp!

--

This wouldn't be something that you would take to a Band Practice. But, it does work Great for at Home Practice. Please feel free to give this a try. And - let me know if it helps you too!
